    Brian,

Now that I am back on the web, "business has slowed down quite a bit thanks to the economy", you can count on it. I replied to you on Tech-Unity and hopefully you can and are willing to help me out. I look forward to hearing from you.

I realize it probably cant be identical for propriety reasons, but, something like it would be great.

When you are faced with an adverse situation at work, you come to realize whether your leaders are true leaders, or are they just full of hot air.

When all goes well, leaders preach grand, noble values and belief systems, alluding to how good leaders they appear to be.

When things go wrong, watch carefully if your leaders walk the talk.

So much for all the fancy corporate values, mission statements and ethical standards.

At the end of the...

The amount of updates I’ve done for my sites in the past week were probably the most I’ve done in the past year! I’ve built 3 new sites within the space of 5 days and currently populating them with unique articles. I’ve also updated two of my much neglected sites in terms of Wordpress version upgrade, template upgrade, and plugin upgrades. I’m extremely happy with how they are presented now

Just last night I’ve taken the plunge and invested quite some money on an SEO service, building...

I‘m a strong believer in taking charge of one’s own career, instead of being told what to do and led around by organizational norms and one’s superiors.

The reason is that I think most superiors out there are not genuinely concerned about their subordinates’ career prospects. The reason is simple – it involves personal benefits.

Take for example, a boss who advices his subordinate to stave off an application for promotion citing the need to have a 'strong case'....

One cannot help but wonder if the world is coming to an end soon. At least, it does seem that way to a skeptic like me.

What with the widespread food scare, unending inflation, pending global recession, mega earthquake in Chile , and global warming getting worse.

I wonder ”if” I will be able to get a job at all in such economic conditions, even considering my not too bad credentials. Will I have to end up working as a waiter or a supermarket cashier… if such jobs will be...

This week is pay the doctors week. Blown nearly $200 on doctor visits when I’m trying to save $ for next planned trip. Could have been more if I hadn’t gone to the university health centre to get my medication and saved on consultation charges. Spent another $75 getting an injection in my cheek for a keloid due to an acne scar that didn’t heal properly… and another $40 on the GP and antibiotics for an apparent ear infection making my left ear go ‘pop’ whenever I burp.

Darn, at this...
